OPTM X900 - Optometry Summer Conference 2025
The Summer Conference 2025 offers a comprehensive two-day continuing education experience for optometrists, featuring expert-led sessions on specialty contact lenses, pediatric prescribing, low vision care, systemic disease, and more. Attendees will gain practical insights and clinical strategies to enhance patient care across a wide range of ocular conditions and populations.
Delivery Options
In-Person Conference: This live, in-person event will be held over two days at the Fawcett Center (2400 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43210). Sessions will include lectures, case discussions, and Q&A opportunities with expert presenters. Parking is free, and attendees will receive morning tea/coffee and a boxed lunch each day.
Time to Completion
The conference includes approximately 14 hours of live instruction: 7 hours on Saturday, July 26, and 7 hours on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
Course Completion Requirements
Participants must attend all scheduled sessions and complete course evaluations to receive continuing education credit and a certificate of attendance. A QR code will be provided after each lecture to record attendance and submit evaluations. Attendees must enter their OE Tracker number after each session.
Technology Requirements
- No technology required for in-person attendance
- Attendees should know their OE Tracker number for CE credit submission

Cost: $40 per hour of instruction
Registration: All registration must be completed online. Registration closes at noon on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
Cancellation Policy: Requests received at CE@optometry.osu.edu five or more business days before the event will receive a full refund. Requests within four days of the event are non-refundable but may be applied to a future conference within one year. No refunds or transfers will be issued for no-shows.
OE Tracker: These courses are not COPE-approved. Attendance will be recorded via QR code after each session, and CE credit will be uploaded to OE Tracker the following week. Attendees must know their OE Tracker number.
