This course, developed by the Age-Friendly Innovation Center at The Ohio State University College of Social Work, introduces the foundational principles of age-friendly communities. Participants will explore the history of the movement, key concepts for working with older adults, inclusive communication practices, and the initial steps for joining the Age-Friendly Network.

Targeted Audiences: Individuals interested in learning about, entering, or working in the World Health Organization and AARP Livable Communities Network. This course is accessible to individuals from all professional backgrounds and disciplines.
