Developed by the Age-Friendly Innovation Center at The Ohio State University College of Social Work, this course introduces the foundational principles of age-friendly communities. Participants will explore the history of the movement, key concepts for working with older adults, inclusive communication practices, and the initial steps for joining the Age-Friendly Network.

  • An Introduction to Age-Friendly Communities certificate of completion from Ohio State's Age-Friendly Innovation Center.

Targeted Audiences: This course is designed for AARP Leaders interested in learning about, entering, or working in the World Health Organization and AARP Livable Communities Network. It is accessible to individuals from all professional backgrounds and disciplines.
