HDFAMST X005 - Village 101: How to Start and Launch a Village
Village 101: How to Start and Launch a Village course is made possible through the generous support of the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging. Villages are grassroots, member-driven programs that promote aging-in-community by offering services, supports, and social opportunities tailored to the unique needs of their neighborhoods, towns, regions, or counties. Throughout this course, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of aging in the United States and explore the Village model in action. You’ll see inspiring examples of Villages from across the country, with a special focus on those in the Central Ohio region.
