FAMCSCI X004 - Building Family Strengths: Community Partnerships (Course 4)
This 3-hour course is designed for early childhood professionals who want to strengthen their ability to connect families with the broader community. Participants will explore how environments influence family well-being and how educators can serve as bridges to community resources. Through research-based strategies, this course highlights the importance of reciprocal partnerships and inclusive practices that help families feel supported and empowered.
Delivery Options
Online Self-Paced: A course that is available fully online with no scheduled class sessions or fixed due dates. You can start coursework at any time and work through it independently at your own pace, within the timeframe designated. Online modules may include readings, lecture videos, assignments, quizzes and more.
Time to Completion
This course is projected to take 3 hours to complete.
Course Completion Requirements
Successful completion of this course requires achieving a score of 80% or higher on quizzes. Quizzes can be taken multiple times.
Technology Requirements
- Use Chrome browser for Windows and MacOS (make sure both the browser and your computer OS are current and do not need updating)
- Avoid Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge, as they do not seem to be compatible.
