Welcome to the Ohio Minds Matter module on Trauma and PTSD. This module is part of a series developed to provide information on youth mental health. This module will help you understand and manage trauma and PTSD in youth. Primary care providers with the right knowledge and skills can make a dramatic impact on the lives of young people and their families.
This module will help you identify how PTSD and stress present in youth, describe evidence-based care for youth with PTSD, and understand how trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) contribute to the development of PTSD.

Online Self-Paced: This course is available fully online with no scheduled class sessions or fixed due dates. You can start coursework at any time and work through it independently at your own pace, within the timeframe designated. Online modules may include readings, lecture videos, assignments, quizzes, and more.
