HLTLIT X207 - Health Literacy - Effective Verbal and Written Communication With Those From Other Cultures

This self-paced module prepares participants to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. As the U.S. becomes increasingly multicultural, this course helps professionals develop culturally appropriate communication strategies—both verbal and written—for improving interactions and health outcomes. It emphasizes more than simple translation, focusing on new ways to organize and present information for different cultural audiences. The module also covers best practices for using medical interpreters and becoming more culturally competent in professional settings.
