HLTLIT X210 - Health Literacy - Just What the Doctor Ordered: Improving Patient Adherence Through Engagement
This course equips healthcare professionals with strategies for patient-centered communication and engagement that enhance adherence to treatment plans. Building on the foundations of patient adherence, this module emphasizes the use of behavior change models, goal setting, and self-efficacy techniques. Participants will explore methods such as the 5 A’s Model to better support patients in managing their own care and making informed health decisions. It is recommended to complete the Nuts and Bolts of Patient Adherence Module prior to this one.
