HLTLIT X201 - Health Literacy - Nuts and Bolts of Patient Adherence
This course introduces healthcare professionals to the fundamental concepts of patient adherence in managing chronic disease. Through this module, participants will explore the challenges of non-adherence, how to measure and identify it, and the impact it has on individuals and the healthcare system. Key terminology such as compliance, adherence, concordance, and therapeutic alliance are clarified. The course also covers patient-centered, provider-level, and system-level strategies to improve adherence.
