MSTGDNR X007 - Hamilton County MGV
Warren County Master Gardener Volunteer (MGV) Training is a hybrid-format course that provides foundational training in consumer horticulture for individuals interested in becoming Master Gardener Volunteers through Ohio State University Extension. Designed for Ohio residents with a passion for gardening and community service, this program prepares learners to share science-based gardening knowledge with the public through local Extension offices.
Please Note: Before enrolling, you must contact your local county Extension office to complete county-specific requirements for the Master Gardener Volunteer program. Delivery Options
Online with In-Person Labs: This course includes online modules covering chapters from the OSU Master Gardener Training Manual, along with required in-county lab sessions. Learners have access to the online course for one year and must attend at least five in-person labs.
Time to Completion
The online portion of the course is expected to take approximately 30–35 hours to complete.
Course Completion Requirements
To achieve intern status, participants must complete all online modules, attend required labs, and successfully complete a final project and/or achieve a minimum score on the final exam.
