This online course provides community leaders and elected officials the resources, training, and tools to develop, grow, and sustain community capacity to better understand and support the local entrepreneurial economy, with a focus on the outdoor recreation sector. The goals of this course are to help local leaders better understand the contribution of entrepreneurs to their local economy, to identify and plan strategies that can help grow and sustain local entrepreneurs, and to help leaders position their community as an environment supportive of and conducive to entrepreneurial success. This information and understanding will allow community leaders to create a strategic plan focused on building an entrepreneur-friendly community.
