CLNTEACH X201 - FD4ME - Creating a Respectful Learning Environment: Avoiding Student and Trainee Mistreatment
Do you want to know how to create a respectful learning environment? Unfortunately, learner mistreatment during training is common. Student and learner mistreatment may have potentially serious and long-lasting consequences. This module involves you in a dialogue to help better recognize and prevent mistreatment in medical education.
This module was developed by the Wayne State University Office of Student Affairs as part of its efforts to help create a learning culture free of student and learner mistreatment.

- Discuss the history and current national data on student mistreatment in medical school
- Identify how faculty actions influence the learning of students and trainees in medical education
- Discuss the long-term consequences of mistreatment and how it can be eliminated
