PLNTSCI X200 - Forest and Urban Tree Pathology and Disease Management for Practitioners and Curious People
This is a single course offering based on the pathology component of a regular OSU class (PLNTPTH/ENTMLGY 5110). It is designed for professionals in the tree care industry—arborists, landscapers, forest managers, and extension educators—as well as curious individuals such as master gardeners and private citizens. The course provides foundational knowledge to recognize major diseases of forest and urban trees and apply pathology principles to new and unknown diseases.

Online, self-paced. This course is available fully online with no scheduled class sessions or fixed due dates. You can start coursework at any time and work through it independently at your own pace, within the timeframe designated. Online modules may include readings, lecture videos, assignments, quizzes and more.

The material is offered on an extremely flexible, continuous basis as a SELF-PACED, SELF-CONTAINED online course. The course consists of 7 modules roughly equivalent to 7 in-class weeks of instruction.
