This course offers all the keys to learn soilless production of strawberry under greenhouse and indoor controlled environment. Contents include strawberry physiology, cultivar selection, production practices, and systems. Six lectures will be delivered over two weeks and students can have options of participating live lectures or listen to the recordings. Students will be given additional two weeks to complete all six lectures, and complete knowledge check to receive certificate of completion. The course is most suitable for those who are new in controlled environment agriculture and interested in strawberry production under controlled environment conditions.

This course will be offered on 9/18 (part 1) and 9/25 (part 2) each for 2.5-3 hour window. Students can attend these live lectures online via Zoom or watch recordings posted to MediaSite and embedded into the course. Knowledge check (quizzes) scores must be at least 90% to gain certificate of completion (multiple attempts are allowed). Quizzes must be completed before 10/9/25.
