HORTSCI X201 - 2025 Greenhouse Tomato Academy (Online)
Join the Ohio Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (OHCEAC) for our 2nd Greenhouse Tomato Academy! The Ohio Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (OHCEAC) offers a comprehensive opportunity to learn Dutch-style high wire tomato production under controlled environments. Online lectures will be held over 4 weeks, followed by an optional two-day hands-on greenhouse training.
Please note: This course begins on November 6 with scheduled live Zoom sessions. Course materials will become available at the start of the program and not prior to that date. A list of Live Zoom Session dates and times is provided below.

- Session 2: Monday, November 10th 6PM – 8PM US Eastern Time
- Session 3: Thursday, November 13th 6PM – 8PM US Eastern Time
- Session 4: Monday, November 17th 6PM – 8PM US Eastern Time
- Session 5: Thursday, November 20th 6PM – 8PM US Eastern Time
- Session 6: Monday, November 24th 6PM – 8PM US Eastern Time
- Session 7: Monday, December 1st 6PM – 8PM US Eastern Time
Delivery Options
Online, Live: This course is delivered virtually in real time using web conferencing software, such as Zoom. You will participate in live class sessions scheduled for specific dates and times, and these sessions may include lecture, group discussion and other learning activities. Readings and assignments might be completed outside of scheduled class time.
Time to Completion
Learners should expect to spend 20 hours completing course content.
Course Completion Requirements
Learners must complete all course components and achieve 100% to earn the credential.
