Infants are not born with 20/20 vision. A baby’s visual experience is crucial for developing normal vision, with many changes occurring in the first year of life. This course will cover key visual milestones and their expected timelines, the known and unknown aspects of emmetropization in infants, important risk factors to consider, and practical tips for examining and prescribing for infants and toddlers.

  • Understand risk factors associated with hyperopia in childhood.
