Welcome to the Ohio Minds Matter module on Bipolar Disorder and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD). This module is part of a series of modules to provide information on youth mental health.
This module will help you understand and manage Bipolar Disorder and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) in youth. Primary care providers with the right knowledge and skills can make a dramatic impact on the lives of young people and their families.
At the end of this module, you will be able to use evidence-based tools to help identify childhood Bipolar Disorder and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), gather additional information to characterize symptoms of Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and initiate a family-centered treatment plan.
